Shots Heard Round the World and the Trans Agenda
Antichristian Sentiment, Drag Queen Story Hour, and Gun Control Take Center Stage
It has been made evident that there is a divide on many topics and “drag queen story hour is no different. If you oppose strange men dressed provocatively in front of children while reading books titled “Jack not Jackie” or “The Gay B Cs” you will be labeled a bigot, anti-LGBTQIABCLMNOP, homophobic and transphobic. The social contagion of Drag Queen Story Hour is worrisome enough, but healthcare professionals' support of this behavior is equally concerning. Add that in with school shootings and gun control and it’s evident that there is an agenda afoot. Of the 1,178 members in Shots Heard an overwhelming 87% support some type of inappropriate pride activity on their social media platforms (TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Mastadon, Substack, Messenger). Three months prior to the Trans Nashville Shoter Audrey Hale, who killed three small children and three adults at Christian Covenant School in Nashville Tennesse, Mayme Trumble posted the above post in Shots Heard Round the World. The sudden push for “gender-affirming care” and that having a “trans kid is better than a dead kid” has overtaken social media, especially TikTok.
TikTok, Influencers, and Social Contagion
TikTok, owned by China’s ByteDance, is a popular app with a seemingly harmless mission “to inspire creativity and bring joy through short-form mobile videos.” However, its connection to the Chinese government, and by default the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), raises concerns. The apps’s algorithm is simple and sinister: it connects you to millions of viewers worldwide and grants China access to all your data. This gives the Chinese government vast information on Americans, which they have a history of using for nefarious purposes. One of those nefarious purposes is pushing the trans agenda on unsuspecting children through the TikTok app using social contagion or sociogenic illness.
Social contagion is defined as the spread of behaviors, attitudes, and effects through crowds and other types of social aggregates from one member to another. Adolescents are prone to social contagion because they may be especially susceptible to peer influence and social media. There is a long list of research articles that support that TikTok is using social contagion, but in the research field it gets labeled as “community support” or “social support” from trans men “helping” educate children on “trans identity and the trans movement.”
